Weekend plan
Arrival
When you get there, let the staff know you've arrived at the check-in hut and they’ll point you in the right direction.
If you don’t mind a load of noise, camp in The Naughty Corner (I promise you I didn't name it that), but don’t complain if we keep you up.
Everyone else: head for Family Camping, or choose your own adventure.
Lifts: need one, or offering one? Sort it in the lift pool.
Friday night - Bring a Dish
Bring something along with you to contribute to a big meal at the campsite for 8pm in the Naughty Corner.
There’s a night on at The Barge on Friday if people fancy it, it should be a fun one to dip into, plus the pub is still open and we have the campsite as a place to hang out with drinks and a firepit.
Saturday Daytime - Games, Interactive Installations and Jams
If you’re arriving on Saturday, get there nice and early.
Duncan will be doing his Altogether Games thing: easy-to-play silly games, daft challenges and low-stakes competitive nonsense.
There’ll be interactive installations from Danny and others in the barn and the campsite.
Aran has built some wicked controller-based multiplayer interactive breakcore machines, and we’re planning an audio electronics jam that anyone can get involved with in the late afternoon/early evening.
Saturday Night - Loadsa Music!
DJs in the barn. Current lineup:
- Algorithmic
- Anorak
- Gizmode & Breakwhore
- Golgot
- Goodhound Blang
- Mitzy
- Myr
- Open Decks B2B2B
- Salander
- S.Murk
- The Mighty Rick
- The Panger
And maybe a few more if we can squeeze them in. If you think you should be on the list, pester Danny.
Get dressed up! Either go shiny, or work from the what3words costume list on the Costumes page.
Sunday Daytime - Roast at the Barge, Walk Around Avebury
We'll go for a carvery in the pub, where they've lots of allowances for various dietary requirements - do ring ahead if you have any questions - we might be able to do a big preorder too.
Then a trip to nearby beautiful Avebury for a wander round the stones for those who can find the energy after Saturday night.
Sunday Evening - Cinema in The Barge's barn room
We'll get together to watch some stoopid B-movies and BangFace TV-style madness. We can work out closer to the time if we need a watershed!
GAZEBOS PLEASE! Help build the Naughty Corner
I want to make the Naughty Corner a really nice place to hang out.
Gazebos are the big one: if you have one you can bring, please do.
Also useful:
- Fairy lights / nice lighting
- Rugs / blankets / cushions
- Folding tables
- Camping chairs
- Bunting / fabric / decor
- Battery lights
- Tarps / ground sheets
One important thing: If you want an electric hookup for your van you'll need to stay in the "main field" (the smaller one nearest the venue) rather than in the Large Camping Field where most of us will be camped. I'm fairly sure we can have vans in the Large Camping Field with us as their site lets you book them in there.
